Chicken Koyla Karahi recipe is very famous nowadays. It tastes slightly different than the normal one. You can make your festival more yummy with this amazing recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken (karahi cut)
  • 6 Tomatoes (peeled)
  • Salt to taste
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Chili Flakes
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leave (chopped)
  • 4 Green chilies (for garnishing)
  • 1 Coal piece 1 Silver foil (small piece)

Method:

  • Put Krahai or wok on high flame; add oil and chicken in it.
  • When chicken changes color, add ginger, garlic, green chilies, tomatoes, and all the masala in it .
  • Then add water and cook for 15 min.
  • Fry it for five min until oil separates and very little moisture is left.
  • Now add ginger, green chilies and place coal in center on a foil piece and cover with lid for 5 min.
  • Serve it with Naan.
