Chicken Jalfrezi is a bold and flavor-full recipe based on tomatoes paste curry with chicken and green bell peppers. Chicken Jalfrezi is like by all in my family. Ingredients:
- Oil 1 tbs
- Ande (Eggs) 2 with salt & pepper
- Oil 1 tbs
- Shimla mirch (Capsicum) Julienne 1
- Pyaz (Onion) Julienne 1
- Oil 2-3 tbs
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tsp
- Boneless chicken Julienne ½ kg
- Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp
- Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
- Kali mirch (Black paper) Crushed ½ tsp
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp
- Tomato ketchup 4 tbs
- Tomato paste 2 tbs
- Soya sauce 1 tbs
- Garam masala powder (Whole spice powder) ½ tsp
- Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
- Tamatar (Tomato) Deseeded & Julienne 1
Method:
- In frying pan, add oil and pour the whisk eggs, make omelet, set aside and cut into cubes.
- In wok, add oil, capsicum and onion. Sauté for a minute, set aside.
- In wok, add oil and ginger garlic paste and boneless chicken, sauté until it changes color.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, crushed, coriander powder and give it a good mix.
- Add tomato ketchup, tomato paste and soya sauce and mix.
- Add whole spice powder, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
- Add tomato (deseeded), sautéed vegetables and omelet cubes. Mix well.
