Beef Stroganoff Recipe.

Beef Stroganoff is basically a dish made with thin pieces of Beef in a sour cream base. Now learn Beef Stroganoff pasta in my style.

Ingredients:

  • Beef undercut strips 500 gm
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Onion finely chopped 1/2
  • Mushrooms sliced 1 cup
  • Garlic finely chopped 1 clove
  • Flour 1 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Cream 3/4 cup
  • Sour cream 1/4 cup
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
  • Mustard paste 1/2tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Fettuccine pasta 250g

Method:

  • In a large pot, boil 3-4 cups of water, add salt, and 1 tsp oil. Cook the pasta until tender.
  • In a large pan, heat up the oil and cook the beef strips, about 2 minutes each side. Remove the beef strips and keep them aside.
  • Add 2 tbsp butter. Melt it, add chopped onion and sliced mushrooms,. Saute for about 5-6 minutes or until onion has browned.
  • Then add garlic and saute for about 1 minute.
  • Add 1 tbsp flour and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add in 1 cup of chicken stock, then add cream and cook 1-2 minutes.
  • Add in the cream and stir.
  • Add in the sour cream. And stir
  • Then add in. Worcestershire sauce, mustard paste , and season with salt and pepper. And cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Then add in the beef strips to the sauce and cook for another 2, minutes.
  • Place the beef gravy on top of the pasta and serve.
